We’ve been working quite a bit with Ben Dewey, a local artist you probably haven’t heard of yet, but you will. He’s terrific. Besides being a badass cartoonist, Ben’s also a working musician. Here he is playing with Portland country favorites Emily Herring & Henpecked. Ben’s solo starts at around 1:15. Ron Chan’s first Star Wars comic has just been released by Dark Horse!

We seem to have gotten the internet’s attention with Jesse Hamm’s mashup last week. Let’s take that one step further. Here’s a panel from an actual upcoming Marvel Comics story to be published in Fantastic Four Giant-Size Adventures #1 written by Paul Tobin, and drawn and colored by Dustin Weaver. It’s “The Adventures of Thingthing. Dustin talks a bit more about the story on his LJ.
