Ellen Forney visited Periscope yesterday! We’re all big, big fans of her work, none more so than Erika:  Erika Moen and Ellen Forney. Derek Kirk Kim stopped by too. No one wanted to hug Derek. Erika Moen will be a guest at TCAF this weekend, May 9-10. She’ll have copies of her new strip collection DAR, and a bunch of prints and posters. Make sure to stop by and say hi! While you’re there, make sure to visit Jim Ottaviani of GT Labs. He’s got books with art by Periscope’s Jeff Parker, Steve Lieber and Dylan Meconis, and he’ll probably have a preview copy of his new project T-Minus.  Watercolor art by Dylan Meconis from Lady Parts, an exhibit at the Sequential Art Gallery As part of their two woman art show, LADY PARTS, Dylan Meconis & Erika Moen will be having a book signing party at the Sequential Art Gallery this weekend. Dylans’ art. Erika’s art. Dylan will be signing & selling copies of her vampire comic, “Bite Me!”, and Erika will be selling & signing copies of “DAR: A Super Girly Secret Comic Diary – Vol. 1″ book, which collects the webcomic of the same name. Both will have additional merchandise & give-aways for book buyers. (Dylan will be giving away buttons & Erika mentioned something we can’t repeat on this site. Anyone who’s met her will not be surprised by this news.) The event will be this Saturday (April 25th), from 5pm to 8pm, with refreshments served. If you missed seeing either of them at this year’s Stumptown Comics Fest, then this will be your best opportunity to come by and say Hi. We hope that you’ll join us for this event. See you Saturday!
