Here’s the latest progress on Jesse Hamm’s DOCTOR WHO commission:
Pictured here are all eleven Doctors, twelve of the Doctor’s companions, the robot dog K-9, the Tardis, and the Doctor Who fan who commissioned the drawing. Next, Jesse will trace this pencil rough onto Bristol board and begin the coloring. Stay tuned…. Check out his preparatory sketches, too. Jesse Hamm recently undertook an immense commission. He’s drawing portraits of all the various Doctor Whos and their various companions. You can see the complete collection to date (more than 20!) in his Commissions gallery.

Wonder Woman Day is an annual event at which Wonder Woman artwork is auctioned to benefit domestic violence shelters. Here are a few of this year’s contributions from Periscope members (Jesse’s was subsequently colored in P’shop):

Jesse Hamm’s been posting chibi Marvel characters like crazy over at his sketchblog. I’ve hijacked them for our readers. I just discovered that my buddy and studiomate Steve Lieber photographed one of sketches I drew at Comicon. Thanks, Steve! I was asked to draw Snow White, a la FABLES:
No other art to show this time. I’m currently working on more health & safety drawings for a book to be used in Rwanda, as well as a funny animal comic for kids, Colleen Coover’s art now adorns the storefront of CHALLENGERS Comics + Conversation, in Chicago, IL!
