Terry Dodson
Terry Dodson gained industry attention in 1993 with Mantra for Malibu Comics. He then went on to Marvel Comics with the X-Men miniseries Storm. After a stint on the X-Men spin-off Generation X, Dodson launched Harley Quinn for DC Comics with writer Karl Kesel. He then collaborated with writer Mark Millar on the year-long blockbuster Marvel Knights Spider-Man, and then with writer/filmmaker Kevin Smith on Spider-Man and the Black Cat. Dodson then relaunched and redesigned the universe of Wonder Woman, with writer Allan Heinberg, Jodi Picoult and Gail Simone. Terry is also working in the European market starting with the graphic novel Songes, for French publisher Les Humanoides Associes, enabling him to do both the lineart and color art for the first time.
In addition to comics, Dodson has also done work in video games, character design for animation, and toys and statue design, and his painting has been exhibited at “Galerie du 9ème art” in Paris.
His current project is Uncanny X-Men with writer Matt Fraction for Marvel Comics. Dodson remains a popular artist in the industry, a status he attributes in large part to the contributions of his wife, Rachel, who adds her talented inking to his work. You can keep up with his latest projects on his website and his blog.
